Jo Wooler’s recent creation “360 degrees” was accepted by the Jury of the 42nd Salon de la Marine and was on display at the National Maritime Museum in Paris from 2 December – 8 January 2012. It is now on it’s way back to Australia where it will be exhibiting at the Hamilton Island Art Gallery, Queensland.

Whilst a stark contrast to her marine creatures  which have become mojocreations trademark over the last decade, Jo looks forward to exploring and creating her 100 piece limited edition series through this fascinating subject.

The Southport Yacht club commissioned Jo to design and create a perpetual trophy for their ‘Sail Paradise’ series. The first race is in March 2012 and then annually for 25 years

Jo’s latest trip to the USA saw her catching up with New York art collector Dorothy Senerchia, and driving out to Rye, N.Y. and Ridgefield C.T. to meet with fellow sculptors Bob Clyatt and Suzanne Benton.

Jo’s latest trip to the USA introduced a new commission for a new client in San Diego, saw her showcase her work at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and establish a permanent exhibition of her work in the show room of Evolution Yachts Worldwide in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Jo and Drew stayed in the beautiful Peppers Coral Coast Resort and enjoyed the fabulous hospitality and facilities of this outstanding resort – the art works pretty good too… Jo relaxed and enjoyed the lavish luxury while Drew crewed on Peter Hackett’s trimaran Intriigue II in the Airlie Beach Race Week, coming third overall.
