‘Joyau de la Mer’ was Jo Wooler’s third sculpture to be accepted by the Jury of the prestigious ‘Salon de la Marine’ (biennial exhibition) at the National Maritime Museum – Paris. The Jury first accepted her ‘Lion Fish’ in 2010, then her ‘360 Degrees’ in 2012 and then her ‘Jewel of the Sea’ in 2014.
