In 2019 towards the end of her sculptural career, Jo was commissioned to make a Lion Fish for a client from New Caledonia.

In 2010 with her ‘Lion Fish’ submission, Jo was the first Australian artist ever to be selected by the Jury for the biennial ‘Salon de la Marine’ at the National Maritime Museum – Paris, France.
